It has been a strange year. COVID-19 has provided stress, sadness and disruption to so many people all over the world. However, one thing that it seems to have done for many people is to put them in touch again with nature. This is one of my favourite things to focus on when I have my James Lyle Photography hat on.
I have certainly spent a lot of time appreciating the simple things in life. There have been some beautiful sunrises, startling moons, vivid flowers and energetic wildlife to enjoy during the previous months. I have been spending time with my family enjoying it together but also spending time alone appreciating the gifts that the earth has to offer.
I am very excited for autumn as it usually provides the opportunity to take some amazing photographs. With dewy mornings, the changing colours of the leaves and the gentle light, this time of year is great for capturing on camera.
I saw the first sign of the conkers arriving this week and I can’t wait to take pictures of all the treats that lie ahead. So stay tuned for more coming soon!
